About

One person, thirty years, and a conviction about who should have access to this.

I am Chris Cobb. I spent three decades building and mapping technology systems for large organizations, the kind with budgets and departments and a person whose entire job was making the software serve the business.

Small businesses and independent practices never had any of that. They buy capable software and then discover that owning it and using it well are separate things, with nobody in between. The gap has been there the whole time. What changed is that the work of closing it no longer takes a team, which means it can finally be priced for a business that bills by the session or the job.

So that is what this is. The same discipline those larger organizations paid for, brought to a business that never had a systems person of its own, whether that is one practitioner or a dozen people on the payroll, at a price that makes sense at that scale.

The way that price works is an operating model, chosen on purpose. One senior operator, working with AI systems built for this kind of modernization work. The AI carries the volume: reading years of records, checking a migration record by record, running the platform comparisons. The judgment, the conversations, and the accountability stay with one person you can call. That is what the tagline means by team. Keeping current with what AI can actually do, and testing it before we recommend it, is part of the team's job, so that you do not have to follow any of it.

How I work

I answer the phone

There is no ticket queue and no rotating support rep. When something looks wrong, you reach the person who built it.

I have no vendor loyalty

No referral arrangements with any platform. The recommendation follows what your business needs, and sometimes that means telling you to stay where you are.

I ask before I build

Every engagement opens with a conversation about how your week runs. What gets built comes out of your answers.

I say when something will not work

If an idea is going to cost you more than it returns, you hear that from me early, while it is still cheap to change course.

The standard

Fieldwork means the work is grounded in your actual conditions: your own data, your own week, your own numbers. Owners drift when too much lands in front of them at once, and more options only deepen the drift. My job is to be the calm guide who narrows it: usable, unbiased information that answers the questions you need answered, until your path is plain to see. Then we walk it together, and I stay beside you until you are there.
